Welcome to children in the marketplace. My name is Pete Garcia and I am currently a seminary student pursuing an MA in Theological Studies. I was born and raised in New Jersey but now live just outside of Portland, Oregon with my wife and our cat, Stevens.
My hope for this blog is that it is a space where there is freedom to explore, question, challenge, try things on, and ultimately, let theology happen to me in ways that transform me and those around me. Through exploration and expression I want to find the ideas that change the ways in which I relate to others, to the earth and its non-human others, and changes the way I relate to God–being drawn into new paradigms of relationship and love. I extend a warm invitation for you to join me because your viewpoint is valuable and important, and because we are in this together.
Grace and peace,
-Pete
